Joseph James Rogan, who we popularly know as Joe Rogan, is a name many will be aware of as he has established himself across various fields. Joe is a podcaster, a comedian, an actor, and a renowned UFC commentator. Over the years, Rogan’s podcast ‘The Joe Rogan Podcast’ has grown to be, perhaps, the most prominent podcast in the world.

But Rogan is someone who likes to keep his personal life personal. Yet there have been some instances where Rogan has shared details about his parents and how his father allegedly abused him. Joe Rogan, in episode #1126 of JRE, opened up about his relationship with his parents.
Who are Joe Rogan’s parents and what do they do?
Rogan’s father is Joseph Rogan Sr. and his mother is Susan Lembo. Joseph Rogan Sr. is a former police officer from New Jersey. So, Rogan was raised by his mother Susan, and her husband, Joe’s stepdad. Susan divorced Joseph Sr. when Joe was just 5. Hence, Rogan complains about his dad being absent for the majority of his childhood. Not only that, Rogan in his podcast makes several allegations about his father.
Joe Rogan alleged his biological father Joseph Sr. abused him as a child. Rogan said his dad was an ‘Italian psychopath.’ He would use violence as a means to discipline the children. Rogan made these allegations years back. The domestic abuse was reportedly the reason why Rogan’s mother Susan divorced his biological father. According to Rogan, he didn’t see his biological dad after he was 7. Rogan has mentioned this in some of his previous podcasts.
“My mom worked, my stepdad was a really good guy. But no one was ever around. When they were done with work they were tired.,” said Rogan in his podcast.
But recently, some videos went viral where Rogan’s biological father was seen claiming that all the allegations that Rogan has made are false. Even Rogan’s biological sister has supported their father in the matter. “You lied about me, you lied about your father. I’m tired of it Joe. If you can talk to me, face-to-face, you’re a punkas*. You got all the money, but you don’t have a heart.” Joe’s father said.
In an even more surprising turn of events, Joe Rogan was reportedly sued by his father for making false acquisitions against him of being violent. He and his daughter have claimed they have proof against him.
