A clip from his podcast, ‘The Fighter and The Kid’ with Bryan Callen, just went viral where he was reacting to Islam Makhachev’s only loss. The funny part is that Schaub confused Adriano Martins with the current flyweight champion, Alexandre Pantoja. In the clip, Schaub is proudly telling his co-host that back in the day, Pantoja knocked out Makhachev. After watching this clip, the MMA fans went berserk with their reactions.

One user by the name of Crafted_7 jokingly said, “Islam already said he won’t fight him again cuz(cause) he’s scared“. A fan even blamed the referee and said, “It’s just that the referee was too quick to stop the match“.
An Instagram user by the name of Sosaraycharles claims that he was confused for three whole days after watching this video. Furthermore, a user admits the uncanny resemblance between Martins and Pantoja.
Brendan Schaub is ready to put all his money on Sean Strickland to beat Khamzat Chimaev
Brendan Schaub is known for his controversial MMA predictions and his controversial comments. Furthermore, he was banned by the UFC in 2016 when he made some controversial remarks about Dana White.
Recently, Schaub gave another controversial take on the potential match between Sean Strickland and Khamzat Chimaev. According to Schaub, he is willing to put all his money on Strickland to beat Khamzat in five rounds. “If you look at Khamzat right now, there is nothing in his past five fights that would lead you to assume he’s gonna be able to steamroll Strickland,” said Schaub.

He feels that the only difficulty Strickland will face is the first round and the beginning of the second round. Furthermore, he claims that if ‘Borz’ is unable to finish the fight in the opening round, then Strickland would be the worst matchup for him.
According to the podcast host, Strickland has better cardio along with a better resume of opponents, which will play a huge factor in that match. Furthermore, Schaub believes that his grappling skills and tenacity are very underrated.
