Conor McGregor recently posted a tweet ridiculing his former friend Artem Lobov. He even gave his tweet a political edge by referring to the critical civil conditions in Russia.
Artem Lobov is a Russian native and hence Conor decided to target his hometown as a means of assumingly goading him. Russia has become a battlefield due to its conflicts with Ukraine. And the situation is getting more and more damnatory due to Yevgeny Prigozhin’s rebellion.
The rebellion holds the potential to commence a civil war, which was particularly addressed by Conor in his Tweet. While the conditions in Russia and its adversary Ukraine still remain taut, people across the globe are hoping for the war to end without causing any further damage.
Civil war in Russia and Artem lobov still in Ireland on benefits.

Conor targetted his former friend, who has now turned into his detractor, for his long-going, personal, and legal fight, against the Russian fighter. McGregor, being an Irish native called out his rival for his decision to stay back in Ireland, instead of returning to his hometown in Russia.
The Rivalry Between Conor McGregor and Artem Lobov
The legal banter between Conor and Artem started back in 2022. Where Lobov, who was formerly a good friend to Conor, got into some arguments with him following the release of Proper No Twelve, Irish Whiskey.
Before the conflicts between them started, Conor and Atem were die-hard friends, who even trained together. The duo even vouched for each other multiple times in UFC.
Although things turned sour between them after Conor sold the majority equity of his whiskey company, and kept the profits to himself. Lobov claimed it was he who gave Conor the idea of the Whiskey brand. He made it public that Conor did not give him any percentage of the profit.
As a result, Lobov sued McGregor for 5% of the equity of the Proper No Twelve Whiskey brand. Subsequently, Conor addressed Lobov as a ‘rat’ on social media, even challenging him for a fight.
Lobov again filed a lawsuit against Conor for defaming him as a rat. He lost that lawsuit. And as a result, he had to pay legal fees as he failed to secure an injunction against his former friend. Nevertheless, Conor is no stranger to lawsuits filed against him, and even potential ones, which didn’t reach the court, but did end him in a lot of trouble.
Now, Conor again seems to have ignited a flame that could result in another potential trouble and courtroom meetings for him through his latest tweet.
