UFC fans are still waiting for the announcement of Jorge Masvidal’s next fight. It’s been more than 8 months since Jorge Masvidal last stepped foot inside the UFC Octagon. However, there’s a reason to believe that we could see him back inside the cage at UFC London.
According to reports, UFC London is set to take place in March 2023. Earlier, Masvidal had hit back at Gilbert Burns for his “lies” and expressed his desire to face him at UFC London. Burns is now scheduled to take on Neil Magny at UFC 282 in January. It will be a while before we get a name for who will stand opposite Jorge Masvidal if he does make his return in March next year.
Jorge becoming the BMF of refusing fights. Either admit you don’t have it for top competition anymore or stop talking about your excuses 🤷🏻♂️

Be that as it may, one more time if out from possible opponents and it is none other than Michael Chandler. The former UFC Lightweight title challenger called out Jorge Masvidal for the symbolic “BMF” belt recently and it looks like Gamebred is not too keen.
Fans feel Jorge Masvidal feels so entitled by holding the “BMF” belt
Jorge Masvidal’s lack of response to Gilbert Burns, all the while asking for a fight against Leon Edwards after he won the UFC Welterweight gold already received wild reactions from UFC fans. And they seem to have turned on him once again after Masvidal’s disinterest in a fight against Michael Chandler.
Translation: I can’t win that fight.
Also Chandler has less submission losses on his record so theres that.

“That’s the first rule of being a BMF. You can’t be a quitter. You might lose, but you can’t ever give up on yourself, you can’t quit. So, that conversation about the BMF belt? It’s not happening man.” Masvidal said.
Fans were quick to remind Masvidal about his recent row of defeats inside the UFC Octagon. It’s been almost three years since Gamebred got his hands raised, a user noted.
Jorge fumbling the bag here. Don’t see another big fight that’s actually winnable for him. Fight the lightweight at 170. Keep turning down fights he’s going to have to fight another WW

The admiration for Michael Chandler to accept a fight against “absolutely anybody” was quite evident from the comments section. Moreover, a lot many opined Chandler has a good chance of beating Jorge Masvidal.
I genuinely think that on recent form, even though Chandler has lost, he runs through Masvidal

Chandler’s name should not be on the tongue of Masvidal. Chandler is only one of the handfuls that are about the life of anytime, anyone, anywhere mentality. Every fight of Chandler is rapid heartbeat exciting/entertaining.
