Former UFC lightweight interim champion, Justin Gaethje takes on the former Bellator champion, Michael Chandler in his next fight. This fight has not been officially announced yet. However, multiple sources have mentioned that ESPN’s Ariel Helwani broke the news.
Michael Chandler made the greatest UFC debut at UFC 257 where he knocked out Dan Hooker in the co-main event. And now he gets to fight the former interim champion who has already fought Khabib Nurmagomedov. If Michael Chandler outclasses Gaethje in this fight then a statement will be made to the lightweight champion.
Khabib has said that he wants to see something spectacular and Chandler might be the one to bring him back from retirement.
Both Gaethje and Chandler are two of the most destructive strikers in the UFC lightweight division. However, Chandler will have a huge advantage in the wrestling and grappling department. However, this is not going to be an easy fight for both the fighters.
