Stipe Miocic will go down as probably the greatest mixed martial artist of all time with his distinctions at the heavyweight division next to none. Miocic defended his heavyweight title against Daniel Cormier at UFC 252 and picked up an impressive unanimous decision win to secure his first title defense in his second Championship reign. While speculations are rife that Stipe Miocic could face Jon Jones next, the match-up against Francis Ngannou is also hugely anticipated. Ahead of all these changes and interesting match-up going forward, Stipe Miocic has found a new management team to represent him in the time to come.

According to ESPN journalist Ariel Helwani, Miocic has signed with Vayner Sports to represent him and has also signed with agent Lloyd Pearson to deal with his future negotiations with the UFC. The management will also help build a brand for Stipe Miocic outside the octagon.

Stipe Miocic to face Jon Jones next?
There could be several reasons behind this step. While Miocic is inarguably the greatest heavyweight of all time with notable victories over some of the most prominent names in the history of MMA, Miocic is not the most well known heavyweight fighter in the UFC. Additionally, Stipe Miocic is not an outgoing personality with continued media presence, and neither is he controversial. While one might not need these qualities to build your brand, Stipe Miocic could be looking at a new vision with the new management team after winning over Daniel Cormier.

It won’t be wrong to say that Miocic’s victory over Daniel Cormier has plummeted to new heights in the MMA world. Miocic’s decision to associate himself with a new management team is a definite step in the right direction. While it will be interesting to see how he fares with the new management, Miocic looks set to make a mark globally.
Stipe Miocic is expected to defend his title belt against Francis Ngannou at some point in 2021, however, there have been reports that Jon Jones could get the title opportunity before Ngannou. Jon Jones vacated his light heavyweight title and announced his move to the heavyweight division. With so much star power, it makes complete sense for UFC to think on the lines of a super fight between Stipe Miocic and Jon Jones.
