While all the major sports organizations decided to wait until the pandemic is over UFC was the only major organization that took a risk to put shows for its fans. However, it was not easy in the beginning.
Despite Dana White trying his best to make UFC 249 successful on April 19 the event was canceled after Disney and ESPN forced White to take a step back. However, that was not going to stop White from doing what he does best, make fights inside the octagon.

Where is the fight island of UFC?
UFC announced his return with a spectacular fight card on May 9th. Since then UFC has been organizing fight nights at regular intervals despite all the obstacles that come along with it. However, due to travel restriction, none of the fighters residing outside of the US has been able to participate in these events. And White came up with a unique solution to that problem, an island.
For a long time, the location of this fight island has been a mystery, and fans have fantasized a lot about this venue. But it’s not a secret anymore.
A recent report from Raphael Marinho of Combate states that the location of the fight island is in Abu Dhabi. The island named Ilha da Luta will host its first UFC event on July 27 according to reports.
It also states that in Abu Dhabi, the travel restrictions are way less strict and the travelers do not necessarily have to obey a 14 day quarantine period, which makes it a suitable location for UFC events. Last year, Abu Dhabi hosted monumental UFC 242 that featured a lightweight title fight between Khabib Nurmagomedov and Dustin Poirier.
Fight island will allow the organizationg to get some of its biggest stars in the action such as Conor McGregor, Khabib Nurmagomedov, and Israel Adesanya.
