UFC superstar Conor McGregor is once again the center of controversy and this time he gets into a scuffle with Rapper Machine Gun Kelly.

The former UFC two-division champion attended MTV’s Video Music Awards 2021 at Barclays Center, Brooklyn. While on the red carpet, Conor McGregor and Machine Gun kelly crossed paths.

Machine Gun Kelly was with his girlfriend, Megan Fox while McGregor was along with the security team. As per reports from TMZ, McGregor asked to take a photo with MGK and Megan Fox. However, MGK snubbed McGregor’s request and pushed him, and after that things escalated pretty quickly.

Conor McGregor and MGK even tried to exchange blows and McGregor threw a punch at MGK. He even threw his drinks at MGK and Megan Fox, which created an unpleasant situation.

Fortunately, the security team of both superstars was able to separate both of them.

McGregor’s team has issued a statement about the incident and they said that rumours of McGregor asking MGK a photo are untrue. His team claimed that McGregor did not instigate the fight at the red carpet.

This is not the first time, the Notorious has gotten into a physical altercation outside the octagon. However, this is certainly not a good look for Conor McGregor.

Fans can Expect Conor McGregor to return soon

Conor McGregor is coming off a brutal leg injury in his last fight against Dustin Poirier. Though he is still the biggest star in the world of combat sports the aura around McGregor is gone after two losses to Dustin Poirier.

And now as the fans await the comeback of the Notorious One him getting into a scuffle with Machine Gun Kelly will not please his fans.

On the bright side, the fans can expect McGregor to compete in the octagon again very soon. The rehab of McGregor has been extremely successful so far as the Irish fighter has shown massive improvements since the leg injury.

A few weeks after the gruesome injury, Conor McGregor is able to do workouts and seems to be on the right path for yet another spectacular return.

However, whether he will be able to get back on the winning column is certainly something the fans are eager to find out.
