One of the greatest mixed martial artists to ever grace the UFC octagon, Anderson Silva has only a couple of fights in his UFC contract. THe is still in shape and can put up a good show for his fans. But, he has done enough for the sport and taken an insane amount of punishment through injuries and countless wars.
And this has led the UFC president, Dana White to consider the next fight of Anderson Silva to be his last fight. And that fight is going to be against UFC middleweight, Uriah Hall.
For a meaningful period, Silva campaigned for a super fight with Conor McGregor. Even though Conor McGregor agreed to the fight verbally UFC was never interested to book the fight. Then the former UFC lightweight champion, Anthony Pettis called out Anderson Silva.

Is it the last dance for Anderson Silva?
And The Spider agreed to the fight as well. it seemed that UFC was going to make the fight between Pettis and Anderson Silva. However, after the Dana White contender’s series, UFC president responded to a journalist about Anderson Silva’s next opponent. He confirmed that Uriah Hall will be the next opponent of Anderson Silva. Unless the former champion wants to continue after the fight against Uriah Hall this would be the final fight of Silva.
White said: “He will fight again. This will be his last fight. We are talking about putting him in a very competitive fight. Should be fun.”
Uriah Hall was supposed to fight Yoel Romero in the co-main event of UFC Fight Night: Edgar vs Munhoz. However, Romero pulled out of the fight due to injury.
Silva last fought Jared Cannonier at UFC 237. He suffered another leg injury in the fight and was not able to continue after that. Before that fight, Silva fought Israel Adesanya and lost via decision.
Conor McGregor announces boxing return
Anderson Silva has had a rough run in the last few years. Apart from the win over Derek Brunson, Silva has lost all of his fights since 2013. While it’s unfortunate to see such a legend lose so many times at the final stage of his career fans are happy that they can witness the aura of Anderson Silva until it’s over.
