The MMA community is very progressive and very accepting. However, as is the case with many communities and cultures, there are some questionable aspects as well. Recently there was a conspiracy theory about Hollywood talk-show host and comedian Ellen DeGeneres and her alleged “satanic” beliefs. As it turns out, UFC president Dana White liked the video as well!
So what was the video about? The video in question comes from a channel named “YouWontBeliveMe” and it seemingly decoded the alleged “satanic” messages in Ellen DeGeneres’ lifestyle. It all started with a sweatshirt that she was wearing. It had drawings of a face that had horns and looked demonic. In another shot, there was a drawing on her window which had a half-drawn face with the words, “Evil thoughts.”

There are also paintings all over her house that allegedly symbolize satanic rituals. However, it is important to mention that the video is only speculative and there is no official confirmation of Ellen being an alleged satan worshiper.
Ellen has a very family-friendly image in public and is a very kind human being by all accounts. However, her image did take a hit after allegations made by some disgruntled employees of her show, “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.”
Fans speculate about the paintings at Ellen’s house
Fans underneath the post tried to explain the meanings behind the paintings. Instagram user rachel_shmandano claimed that the pictures are nothing but Basquiat paintings. They added, “these are called basquiat paintings and they’re amazing. I have a local artist who paints inspired by him and I’m not satanic.”
Another user xoseph wrote also claimed that such paintings are not demonic and wrote, “Basquiat was far from satanic, that art is called contemporary /neo expressionism and he was a catholic.”
However, there are others who agree with the breakdown in the video. User cash_rulest.dot added, “Bruh y’all know she is f***ed, stop saying it’s art. She was on the plane to Jeffery’s island!” Another Instagram user xaeoxic echoed the same sentiment and added, “No wonder she was losing her mind during COVID. Locked in there with your own consequences.” So all in all, the video, which has over 118K likes, seems to have divided the fan base.
Which religion does Ellen DeGeneres believe in?
After the viral video, many fans may wonder which religion Ellen DeGeneres believes in. Ellen, who is a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community, was raised as a Christian Scientist. Although she did reveal that there were some benefits to it, Ellen later changed her beliefs and had some interesting comments on the matter.
She added, “I was raised Christian Science, which is like ‘mind over matter.’ I think there is something to that. But I have a problem with a lot of the rules. I don’t believe the god that I believe in is judgmental.” (h/t via Showbiz Cheat Sheet)
However, there is no doubt that Ellen is a spiritual person and does maintain her faith in a higher power. The 65-year-old comedian also does not believe in the concept of the afterlife and thinks “heaven” or “hell” depends on what the person does with their life right at present. However, she did not disrespect any sentiments and revealed that her faith is her own and she does not enforce her faith on anyone.
