Recently, Youtuber and WWE star Logan Paul and KSI’s energy drink brand became a partner of the UFC. Following an initial tease, it was revealed that PRIME Hydration will now be the Official Sports drink of the UFC. However, this is not the first time that Logan’s name has been mentioned in association with the UFC.
As many followers of the former Disney and Vine star will know, Logan has done very well to grow his brand. From a near career-ending incident at Aokigahara forest in Japan, the Maverick has done very well to resurrect his career. Trying his hand at influencer boxing against then-foe KSI and Floyd Mayweather Jr., Logan got a taste for fighting.
As such, Paul has often spoken about wanting to fight in the UFC as well. Previously, Paul spoke to UFC President Dana White about the same in an episode of Impaulsive. Stating that he has the wrestling background and the striking prowess, Logan could give the UFC a shot. At the time, White simply replied, “I’m not saying no,” hinting at something more, which has since been confirmed by UFC announcer Bruce Buffer.
Recently, in the build-up to the PRIME partnership announcement, Logan also put out a teaser, implying that he could potentially fight in the UFC. Although fans knew that it was a PRIME sponsorship deal, many including Paul have often wondered what if. Time and again, Paul has iterated his desire to fight in the UFC.

Currently, Logan is signed with the WWE on a massive multi-year deal. For the most part, he has been a huge success taking on Roman Reigns and had a superb performance at Royal Rumble 2023. Further, he is set to take on Seth Rollins at Wrestlemania 39, following their clash at the Rumble.
Bruce Buffer confirms Dana White wants Logan Paul to fight in the UFC
Most recently, UFC announcer Bruce Buffer made his appearance on Impaulsive. In Episode #364, Buffer and Paul had a discussion about Bruce possibly announcing Logan in the WWE ring. Here, Logan also suggested the idea of Bruce introducing him inside the UFC Octagon instead. “You know how I feel about that!” exclaimed Buffer.
Further, Bruce mentions how Dana previously entertained the possibility of Logan fighting in the UFC. In his response, Logan acknowledges the same before revealing to Bruce that PRIME was now the official sports drink of the UFC. For those unaware, the episode with Buffer was likely shot before the official announcement.
Coming back to the main matter, is there a genuine possibility of “The Maverick” fighting in the UFC? Well, for the most part, it is entirely possible, just not in the near future. As mentioned before, Logan is signed with the WWE on a multi-year deal, meaning it is unknown if he is even allowed to fight elsewhere.

If it does ever happen, Logan will be joining the likes of Brock Lesnar, CM Punk, and Matt Riddle as some of the fighters to have fought in both the UFC and WWE. Although he has been very keen to fight Paddy the Baddy in the UFC, Logan will most likely have to go for a much bigger opponent, likely from the middleweight or light heavyweight division.
Do you think Logan Paul will ever fight in the UFC? What have you made of the PRIME partnership so far? Will Dana reconsider offering Logan a UFC contract? Leave your thoughts in the comments below.
