After more than a year, Darren Till will finally step inside the UFC Octagon as he takes on Dricus du Plessis on the main card of UFC 282 inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas this weekend on 10 December. While it will be more than a year since we last saw Darren Till, it will be more than two years since we last saw him walk out to Sweet Caroline by Neil Diamond.
At UFC 282, Darren Till once again walkout to music instead of silence, like he did in his last two fights against Robert Whittaker and Derek Brunson. The Gorilla decided to make his walk to the Octagon in pure silence during the COVID-era fights. Till decided to save the song for the fans, refusing to play it in empty arenas.
No soundtrack to this walkout 😶

This weekend as he steps out to the cage to take on South African Dricus du Plessis, the sounds of his walkout song will once again echo in the T-Mobile Arena as thousands of fans gather to witness the spectacle, that is UFC.

Till was asked about the same during the UFC 282 pre-fight press conference, and while he did not confirm there will be a song during his walkout this time around, we are sure it’s going to happen! In the past, Till has also walked out to Phil Collins’ In the Air Tonight. Much to the surprise of fight fans around the world, Darren Till walked out to Tourner Dans Le Vide by Indila at UFC 282, a song made famous by Andrew Tate.
Who is Darren Till fighting at UFC 282?
Darren Till will take on South African fighter Dricus du Plessis in his UFC return at UFC 282. Du Plessis is an undefeated UFC fighter, currently ranked #14 in the UFC’s middleweight rankings. Plessis’ last fight came in the form of a unanimous decision win over Brad Tavares and is 3-3 in his UFC journey with two KO wins to his name.

Du Plessis has only lost twice in his mixed martial arts career and is 17-2 heading into UFC 282. The first loss came quite early in his MMA career in the form of a submission loss against Garreth McLellan back in August 2014. Plessis’ next loss came in the form of a KO loss against none other than Roberto Soldic.
One of the most exciting prospects in mixed martial arts today, Roberto Soldic also succumbed to a TKO loss before avenging the loss in the rematch against the South African sensation. Du Plessis is an aggressive fighter and is always ready to engage in a slugfest. Come UFC 282, the expectation is nothing different.
