UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya has been making headlines for quite some time now. Following his UFC 287 KO win over Alex Pereira, Adesanya has decided to unleash his inner rage on social media. Although he has targeted the journalists as well, his ex-girlfriend Charlotte Powdrell has been the biggest subject of Izzy’s recent outrage on social media platforms.
To refresh the minds of the readers, Adesanya revealed recently that Powdrell, his former partner, was a bad influence on his life. Not only was she reportedly financially irresponsible, but the real estate agent also allegedly sold Adesanya’s info. Despite a seemingly bad breakup, not a lot of partners accuse their ex of selling their info. Hence, Adesanya’s accusations were quite serious.
However, in a recent interview on his own channel, Adesanya seemingly avoided the matter.
Adesanya’s younger brother David Adesanya, who runs Izzy’s YouTube channel, conducted an interview with the fighter. Considering his recent outbursts, fans expected some firey comments from “The Last Stylebender.” However, choosing to stay silent, Adesanya only plugged his upcoming documentary, “Stylebender.” But, he also made interesting comments while addressing the upcoming movie.
Israel added, “I feel like people need to watch this like men need to watch this. There’s a lot of stuff you can learn. Even if you don’t like me, there’s a lot of stuff you can learn about being… just emotionally intelligent. Being a killer, being a savage, being a lion but being a lamb, the duality of it. The masculine and feminine within all of us. Like the balance of person.”
Adesanya also teased the fans about giving a look into his personal life. While the middleweight champ is extremely protective about his family and private life, the upcoming “Stylebender” documentary will uncover a new side to the Kiwi that the fans perhaps have never seen before. Will it include anything from his relationship with Charlotte Powdrell? Fans can find out when the documentary comes out on June 11, 2023.
Charlotte Powdrell reportedly wants to sue Israel Adesanya for half his $4 million net worth
Charlotte Powdrell has kept quiet since Israel Adesanya put her on blast all over social media. However, if UFC bantamweight title contender Sean O’Malley is to be believed, Powdrell may be making moves behind the scenes. In a short video clip released on O’Malley’s YouTube channel, “Suga Sean” added that Charlotte may file a lawsuit and claim half of Izzy’s $4 million net worth.
Talking about the unfair nature of it, Sean said, “I don’t know how their relationship was because I didn’t even know he had a girlfriend, but to want half of what he’s gone out there and done is absolutely ridiculous.”
However, the claim might be pure speculation on O’Malley’s part as there has been no official news of Powdrell filing a lawsuit against Adesanya. So what do you make of the ongoing feud between Adesanya and his ex-girlfriend? Let us know your thoughts in the comments down below.
