Can Brandon Moreno beat Deiveson Figueiredo in the rematch?
There were a lot of outside factors that played a big role in the way the first fight played out. Deiveson Figueiredo was hospitalized the night before the fight. So it can be said that the champion was not 100% on the fight night.
However, credit has to be given to Moreno who pushed the champion to the limit. Both have a very different set of skillsets and hence this fight is so exciting. Deiveson Figueiredo possesses the power to finish the fight at any moment. But, Moreno is as tough as they come. He took the best shots from Figueiredo and still stayed in the fight.
Moreno seemed to have an advantage in the grappling exchange. Moreno is faster than Figueiredo while the champion is more explosive.
Though Figueiredo will be a favorite going into the rematch counting out Moreno who is the bantamweight champion according to one judge from UFC 256 will be a huge mistake.
