Do fighters have sex before the fight? It’s a question that many fans must have asked themselves. Former WBC heavyweight champion, Deontay Wilder once confessed that he had sex 2 hours before his pro debut and he did just fine in the fight. And now one of the most violent men in UFC, Justin Gaethje answers the question.
The former UFC interim lightweight champion, Justin Gaethje took on the toughest challenge in UFC, Khabib Nurmagomegov at UFC 254. This was the biggest fight in Gaethje’s combat sports career and the training camp leading up to the fight was grueling, to say the least.
On UFC fight island. when Gaethje was asked by a media person about his sexual activity before fights Gaethje had a few hilarious responses.
What’s next for Justin Gaethje?
The outcome at UFC 254 did not go in favor of Justin Gaethje. But, there is no shame in losing to Khabib Nurmagomedov. Justin Gaethje is one of the best lightweights in the world right now. But, Khabib Nurmagomedov is miles away from everyone else when it comes to skillsets.
After Khabib’s retirement, the lightweight division has become very exciting. Conor McGregor is likely to fight Dustin Poirier on his UFC return. And Michael Chandler might end up fighting Gaethje or Tony Ferguson.
Though Gaethje failed to capture the lightweight title against Khabib Nurmagomedov. He has a much better chance against the current top lightweights in the UFC.
Michael Chandler has already shown interest in a fight against Gaethje. If Gaethje does not want to wait for the winner of McGregor vs Poirier a fight against Chandler does make sense for the former interim champion.
Khabib Nurmagomedov’s exit has created big opportunities for the rest of the UFC lightweights. It would be intriguing to see whether Gaethje can come out of on the top this time.
