Will Tony Ferguson ever fight Khabib Nurmagomedov?
Khabib claimed that the chances of reigniting his rivalry with Tony Ferguson after the devastating loss against Justin Gaethje back at UFC 249 seems unlikely. Khabib stated that Tony Ferguson is finished, and might lose his comeback fight as well. He added that the kind of damage which Ferguson took in his fight against Justin Gaethje, it would be impossible for any fighter to make a comeback from there. Additionally, it hasn’t even been six months since UFC 249, which took place in May, and Tony Ferguson is hinting at making a return to the Octagon.

Ferguson has also hinted at a rematch with Justin Gaethje, and looks confident of facing Khabib Nurmagomedov. Dustin Poirier vs Conor McGregor looks like a done deal according to various reports. With Khabib teasing a retirement with one fight following UFC 254, Ferguson’s urging both the fighters to not retire looks fair. Earlier, Justin Gaethje had stated that should he get past Khabib Nurmagomedov, he might fight Dustin Poirier in a rematch and call it a day.
