As a renowned internet personality, every single thing you do is under heavy scrutiny from fans and the public. Thus, sometimes when celebrities end up doing something wrong, the netizens are the first ones to pounce. Such has been the case for Hasbulla Magomedov.
“Mini Khabib” rose to fame for his rivalry with Adbu Rozik. Since then, Hasbulla’s popularity and influence have seemingly been on an upwards trajectory. As such, with his growing popularity, the youngster became a meme icon and soon started making appearances on other media as well.
Previously, Hasbulla also made an appearance on the FULL SEND PODCAST with the Nelk boys and Bradley Martyn. It was here that Magomedov shared about his difficult time in school. “I’ve had bad experiences with school,” he says. “I studied 4 years in Islamic school. I escaped from school after 4 years. No matter how long you stay there for, you can never finish school”. Further, he adds, “I don’t like how the teachers and students treated me.
Suffering from achondroplasia, a condition which makes his appearance seem younger than his actual age, it is understandable why the youngster was picked on in school. Additionally, the social media star also revealed that some of these people seemingly made a U-turn, trying to be friends with him after his rise to fame. The young Russian, having learned his lesson, promptly turned them away and has not responded to them since.
Why is Hasbulla getting canceled by fans and UFC fighters?
Recently, the 20-year-old is at the center of a new controversy. After a video of him treating his pet cat with some ‘tough love’, the netizens have come for him in full force. According to many, Hasbulla’s treatment of his cat has been nothing short of an animal rights violation, after he was seen pulling its ears and smacking it twice. Moreover, the Russian was also heard speaking to his cat in a not-so-loving manner in the video as well.
Responding to all the criticism and hate, Mini Khabib sent out his own reply on the matter. “Those brothers who think that I was beating the cat, pulled the ear this and that, I pulled the ear gently and I know that people are waiting for the moment if I write something wrong, to just attack me like this.” According to him, Hasbulla was simply reprimanding his cat for misbehaving and it should not be such a big issue.

Additionally, he added that there should be no doubts as to whether he loves his cat or not either. “If I didn’t love the cat, I wouldn’t have it at home. My most lovely animal is a cat and when she disobeyed, I scolded her a little and you’re attacking me for nothing.” Among Hasbulla’s critics were UFC lightweight Dan Hooker and middleweight Sean Strickland, who have previously picked on Hasbulla as well.
Whilst many have called for him to be canceled, it is highly unlikely that such a thing will occur. As such, you can expect Hasbulla to still fulfill his duties as a UFC ambassador and be present for events across the globe. Do you believe that Hasbulla should be canceled? Will he be released from his UFC contract and sponsorships? Leave your thoughts in the comments below.
