Sean Strickland is a name that has been going wild in sports as well as the entertainment industry. The former UFC middleweight champion has been in the limelight for more than just his octagon appearances. Strickland has been involved in an ongoing beef with influencers whom he strictly condemns for their acts. Sneako was one of the less fortunate streamers who got involved in a viral shuffle with him.
Things began when the two met at an event and both agreed to a sparring session. Sneako met up with Strickland at his gym and geared up to spar with the UFC fighter. Sean was initially seen mocking the influencer, who seemed defenseless, and later started unloading on him. The middleweight went all in, bombarding the influencer with remorseless punches, which the latter did take up with all his strength.

The scene started to turn ugly when Sneako’s corner threw in the towel three times to indicate a stoppage to the onslaught. This didn’t seem to make a difference to the American mixed martial artist, who kept raining strikes and body shots at the streamer before being intervened by the coach. Fans did praise Sneako’s commitment to going up against a ruthless brawler like Sean, but many also questioned his intentions.
In a recent stream, Sneako shared his current state after the sparring session, stating, “Honestly I have never had a concussion that serious…..I might have a fu**in concussion bro, I think something might be up in my head“. He shared that he was experiencing difficulty counting and adding up numbers, which he believes could be a sign of some damage to his brain after the onslaught by Strickland.
Joe Rogan blames Sneako over the sparing decision with Sean Strickland
After the sparring session video went viral, the MMA community was divided on their opinions about the event. Some believed that Sneako knew what he was getting into and deserved the beating by the former champion. Others stated that it was not the right move for Sean Strickland to go so hard on a non-fight in a sparring session.
UFC commentator and podcaster Joe Rogan shared his opinion on the incident during his recent podcast with Chris Williamson. Rogan stated, “I don’t know what that kid thought…he is so silly for doing that for agreeing to do that with Sean Strickland…Sean Strickland is a different animal. Sean Strickland has you know this he has a fu**in man code” on the viral video.
Rogan shared that he wasn’t surprised by what Sean Strickland did to Sneako, as it is a well-known part of his training to go hard in sparing sessions. Nevertheless, he also believed that Sean could have shown some restraint by not trying to cause permanent damage to the untrained streamer. Strickland has also challenged other influencers, Jake Paul and Bryce Hall, for a sparring session, and their responses are awaited.
