One of the most popular personalities on the internet, is the Russian social media influencer, Hasbulla. He initially rose to fame after butting heads with another influencer, Abdu Rozik. Their rivalry was immensely entertaining and Hasbulla’s cute mannerisms made the fans fall in love with him.
However, it appears as though his love affair with the fans is about to end after a recent video of animal abuse goes viral. It is obviously a sensitive topic as abuse of any kind is not acceptable at all, especially when it comes to animals. Through his social media posts, Habulla is often seen interacting with animals. There was a video of him being chased around by a dog, which won the fans’ hearts.

However, in a completely separate video, Hasbulla was seen treating his pet cat in a horrific fashion. The video kicked off with him pulling the cat’s ears. It was evident that the act was not playful as the cat quickly ran away and tried to hide in a box. But, instead of leaving his pet alone, Hasbulla followed the cat and punched the animal twice. He could also be heard speaking in Russian while recording the video.
UFC fighter Dan Hooker wants Hasbulla to be canceled after animal abuse video
UFC lightweight and featherweight fighter Dan Hooker reacted to the video after it went viral. It did not take much time for him to jump on the opportunity to slam Hasbulla. There is also history between the two as Hasbulla Magomedov picked his friend Islam Makhachev to beat Hooker at UFC 267. It made Dan very upset and revealed that he would train Abdu Rozik to beat the 20-year-old.
Hence, the Kiwi fighter did not miss the chance to call for Hasbulla to be canceled. He wrote, “Been waiting, let’s cancel this bullsh*t c**t.” He also followed up another later to reaffirm his position and added, “Cancel culture attack!”
Been waiting, let’s cancel this bullshit cunt. https://t.co/dF7MCw66cT

Needless to say, Dan Hooker is not the only one to criticize Hasbulla. Hasbulla, who is incredibly close to UFC lightweight GOAT Khabib Nurmagomedov, faced bullying in school. During an appearance in the Nelk Boys podcast, Hasbulla revealed that he had to quit school after only 4 years as he felt he was being mistreated by his classmates and teachers. Ironically, he is facing severe backlash for bullying his own pet cat.
Hasbulla’s response to the animal abuse video
Hasbulla, who has over 1.5 million followers on Twitter, put out a statement on the social media site on the matter. In a video, he revealed that there was no malice behind his actions and that he just wanted to discipline his pet cat Barsik for “misbehaving.”
For everyone asking me without the full picture. 🐈❤️ pic.twitter.com/9FMmbaF4zc

He said, “Those brothers who think that I was beating the cat, pulled the ear this and that, I pulled the ear gently and I know that people are waiting for the moment if I write something wrong, to just attack me like this. Like, ‘You do this, you do that.’ She (Barsik) was misbehaving and I just pulled the ear and that’s it. I love my cat more than you. If I didn’t love the cat, I wouldn’t have it at home. My the most lovely animal is a cat and when she disobeyed, I scolded her a little and you’re attacking me for nothing.”
While the social media influencer did address the issue, he did not apologize for his actions. Instead, he seems to think that the whole situation is blown out of proportion. Amongst his most high-profile endorsements, Hasbulla is also an official UFC ambassador. Will the company reevaluate its partnership with Hasbulla? Only time will tell.
