Conor McGregor found himself in trouble again in Corsica as he was training for the water bike challenge to raise awareness about suicide prevention. The former UFC champion was arrested and interviewed on attempted sexual assault allegations.
However, Conor McGregor denied all the allegations and was later released without any charges. But, this is not good news for the fans of the Notorious One. Fans have been eagerly waiting for the return of Conor McGregor from retirement. However, they find their favorite fighter amidst legal trouble yet again.
Conor McGregor sends a strong message
Though Conor has been charged guilty in the past on multiple run-ins with the law this time it does not seem that the Notorious One has done anything wrong. We have not seen any strong proof against McGregor in this scenario. And if we look at the strong words Conor posted in his private Facebook account we are not going to get any proof against Conor McGregor either. McGregor stated:
“I will never kill myself no matter how many wish for it. Try set me up all yous f—ng want over and over the truth will always set me free! Be it baby father claims, rape, indecent exposure, bullsh-t WhatsApp group sh-t. You f—ng name it. Never will I fold!
The truth is the truth and it gives me wings! I know my character! God bless DNA! God bless Cctv! God bless Eye witness! God bless the truth! The truth is power! Never will a dime be paid to anyone coming at me with vicious lies! Now now not f—ng ever! I will fight! And I am only beginning to fight! All these past incidents you will see! They will not be forgotten! I will not allow these people to just accuse me and then disappear into the dark to attempt to ruin someone else life! No f—ng way!”
Conor McGregor has been away from the octagon since UFC 246. He finished Donald Cerrone in 40 seconds to mark his emphatic return. Fans were expecting to see him fighting for the title next. However, due to some unfortunate circumstances, McGregor is not the number one contender at the moment, which is why decided to retire from the sport. Though the fans believe that Conor will make a return sooner or later, the future of the former champion still lies in uncertainty.
