UFC Vegas 68 will see Laura Sanko finally making history. Laura has provided commentary for LFA, Invicta, and Dana White’s Contender Series. But no female previously commented in a main roster show for the company. Sanko will become the first one to do so. After a brief MMA career, she became a broadcaster, and the move is definitely paying off.
However, her rise came with its fair share of controversies. While she was progressing steadily, her boat was rocked by an accusation made by a former UFC title contender. Megan Anderson, who fought Amanda Nunes for the women’s featherweight title, made a shocking accusation against Sanko. Megan claimed that Sanko apparently had an affair with James Krause.
The accusations came on the hills of Megan’s feud with James. Anderson let out her frustrations about the fact that Krause allegedly neglected her before the Nunes fight at UFC 259. During one of her interactions, she revealed that her ex-coach James Krause, and Laura Sanko were having an affair. It became a big deal as both Sanko and Krause were married to different people.
Laura has been married since 2012, to an American businessman, Nathan Sanko. James Krause, on the other hand, was also happily married to Shynel Krause. Although Sanko did not react to the accusations back then, she has finally broken her silence.

James Krause has become a notorious name in the sport of MMA in recent times. Once a celebrated coach, James is currently facing banishment from the company. His involvement in an alleged betting scandal has rocked the MMA world. Recently, he was removed from a UFC event. Although it was because of the ongoing investigation, fans thought it had something to do with his rumored affair with Laura.
Laura Sanko appeared before the media ahead of UFC Vegas 68. She was addressing her historical achievement and thanked the fans for their incredible support. However, she also took the opportunity to address the lingering rumors of her alleged affairs. She revealed that her success had nothing to do with others and that all the allegations about her affairs are false.
She added, “I think anytime you do something for the first time, people are gonna have something to say about it. And I’m incredibly thankful that, as you say, apparently, the response has been overwhelmingly good. But on the way up, there is a lot of questioning.”
