Jack Della Maddalena’s power is surreal in the UFC’s welterweight division. In little more than a year, he has made a huge name for himself in the world of mixed martial arts during his short stint with the UFC. The Australian fighter is currently 3-0 in his UFC journey, since earning the UFC contract with a unanimous decision win over Ange Loosa back in September 2021.
Jack Della Maddalena was born in Perth, and the 26-year-old fighter competed in Australia before making his way to the US to compete in the UFC. Maddalena ruled the MMA circuit in Australia, defending his EMMA Welterweight Championship four times before knocking at the UFC’s door. Needless to say, with three back-to-back first-round stoppage wins to his name, there’s no denying Jack Della Maddalena has become a must-see fighter.

Maddalena’s last fight inside the Octagon came in the form of a TKO win over Danny Roberts back in November 2022, and fans are wondering if he would be competing at UFC 284, which goes down in his hometown of Perth.
Who will Jack Della Maddalena fight at UFC 284 in Perth?
At the time of writing, UFC has not confirmed any opponent for Jack Della Maddalena for its UFC 284 card. However, it won’t be wrong to say that there’s a huge possibility we could see him back inside the Octagon on February 12.

Maddalena has already expressed his desire to compete on the Perth card and it’s only a matter of time before he finds himself an opponent. There’s still more than a month to go for UFC 284, and ample time for the UFC to announce the fight. The UFC 284 card still doesn’t look like it’s complete, so expect more fight announcements in the coming weeks.
The much-anticipated return will feature Australia’s very own Alexander Volkanovski headlining UFC 284 as he takes on Islam Makhachev for the UFC Lightweight Championship in his attempt to become a two-division. Robert Whittaker was also initially scheduled to take on Paulo Costa on the main card, however, that fight fell apart after Costa withdrew from the bout due to a contract negotiation dispute.
