UFC commentator Joe Rogan has made statements about his political stance on a regular basis. With the number of podcasts he has hosted and also he has been a guest on, it is easy to sway some conversations on the political side. He has even had guests on his show who have been in the industry which makes it easy to make your political stance known. However, is Joe Rogan liberal?
According to statements he has made more than once, it seems he is. During Ben Shapiro Sunday Special Ep. 4, Rogan said, “I’m pretty liberal. Like pretty fucking liberal across the board. If you want to talk to me about gay marriage, if you want to talk to me about gay rights, women’s rights, drugs. You go down the line… Universal healthcare, universal basic income I mean I’m pretty liberal.”
CNN even described Rogan as someone who leans to the liberal side. In a CNN report, it was stated that Rogan was “a libertarian-leaning broadcaster.”
However, there is one thing that Rogan does not agree with the liberals on. In the Joe Rogan Experience episode #1258, Rogan said, “I’m very liberal. I’m very liberal in… Except for [the] Second Amendment. That’s probably the only thing I disagree with a lot of liberals on.”
The Second Amendment to the United States Constitution was ratified on December 15, 1791. It is what protects the rights of the Americans to keep and bear arms.
Joe Rogan explains why he did not vote for Joe Biden in the US Presidential elections
Rogan once offered to moderate a debate between 2020 Presidential candidates Joe Biden and Donald Trump. A change.org petition for the same had reached a very high number of signatures. However, the debate did not take place. Rogan, however, did speak out about why he did not vote for Biden.
Rogan said, “He [Biden] can’t talk right anymore. That was one of the things that people were saying, that I was a Trump supporter during the election because I said I would vote for Trump before I would vote for Biden.
“But I didn’t vote for either,” he explained. “The reason why I said that was like, ‘You don’t see this? Are you guys out of your f****** mind? You guys don’t see that this guy can’t, he can’t talk right anymore?'”
Biden, however, did win the elections. In November 2020, he was elected to be the 46th President of the USA. Kamala Harris was selected as the Vice President.
