Logan Paul is known as a YouTuber and more recently a WWE star. Moreover, he is also a co-owner and brand ambassador of PRIME Hydration, a very popular energy, and sports drink. With many successful and some unsuccessful ventures ( CryptoZoo) under his belt, Paul is always up to something new.
As such, Logan has gotten involved in many different combat sports as well, including boxing, and amateur and pro wrestling, and could be making his way to MMA next. Recently, Logan posted a video on his socials that has got the rumor mill running.
Major announcement tomorrow @danawhite pic.twitter.com/vNaATFp0He
— Logan Paul (@LoganPaul) January 30, 2023
“Major announcement tomorrow @danawhite,” he wrote in the caption for the video. For the most part, the video shows a timeline of Logan’s fighting career. Interestingly, the clip ends with him sitting next to White, signing a piece of paper, and saying, “I want Paddy Pimblett.”
Naturally, many have assumed that Logan could well be making his way to the UFC. In the clip, there is also a segment from Logan’s Impaulsive episode with Dana White. The segment focuses on Logan trying to convince Dana White for a shot in the UFC, to which the President replied, “I’m not saying no.”
Although the clip has been centered around “The Maverick” potentially fighting in the UFC, many fans have a different theory. Seeing a brief glimpse of a PRIME bottle, many insist that the UFC could be partnering with the energy drink brand. However, there are doubts about this theory as the UFC is also partnered with Body Armour and Monster Energy as well.

Previously, Logan has been very vocal about wanting to fight Paddy the Baddy in the UFC. Although highly unlikely, due to their weight classes, maybe the UFC could make something happen. Moreover, Paul’s pedigree as a combat sports athlete cannot be doubted, seeing his impressive run in the WWE.
Making his debut in 2021, Paul would go on to take on Roman Reigns in 2022, putting up an impressive fight. Most recently “The Maverick” made his appearance at Royal Rumble 2023. On the occasion, Paul performed a spectacular mid-air stunt against Ricochet and was only eliminated by the eventual winner, Cody Rhodes.

Additionally, we already know that Logan’s brother, Jake Paul has signed with the PFL. Reportedly, he will be part of the PPV division of the PFL, which is rumored to try and bring in former UFC heavyweight champ, Francis Ngannou as well. Similarly, Logan might be following in his brother’s footsteps and deciding to take a punt on MMA next.
Although some MMA purists might hate the idea, a potential deal would likely bring a whole new audience to the sport. Moreover, with UFC’s 30th year already looking stacked, adding in a superstar like Paul could start something special. Even if the announcement is for a PRIME partnership, the UFC would do good to cash in on its hype.
What do you think the announcement will be? Will Logan paul sign a deal to fight in the UFC? Which division will he fight in and who does he fight? Leave your thoughts in the comments below.
