The legend of Conor McGregor continues to grow. McGregor has become almost synonymous with UFC with over 50 million followers across all social media networks. The former dual champion never fails to surprise his fans. In a new announcement, McGregor has teased that his production company is working with streaming platform Netflix. In conversation with Parimatch CEO Sergey Portnov, McGregor spilled details about his entry into the movie industry with his production house, “Claymore Productions.”
“I’ve got Claymore Productions, which is a production company and we’ve got big things planned with Netflix. I’ve got my own movies, and as well as Executive Producer with other ventures.” McGregor revealed.
McGregor has earlier acted as an executive producer for his Biography, Conor McGregor: Notorious that captured the former dual champion’s journey till the second Nate Diaz fight which ultimately got him the title shot in the lightweight division. The movie was directed by Gavin Fitzgerald and showcased a complete package of McGregor’s journey to landing his dual championship shot against Eddie Alvarez.

Conor McGregor is a brand in himself. From Proper 12 to McGregor Fast, the Notorious’s presence in the market has grown exponentially in the last several years. He is a global ambassador for the sport of mixed martial arts. McGregor is as big as it gets in the world of combat sports. It won’t be wrong to say that he is akin to the likes of Floyd Mayweather, Muhammad Ali, and Oscar de la Hoya.

Moreover, McGregor also revealed that his production house, Claymore Production will be working alongside Netflix for several projects. Additionally, he will be chiming in as an executive producer for several other ventures. On the UFC front, McGregor is set to return to the Octagon against former interim champion Dustin Poirier.
UFC 257 will open the year 2021 in a potential #1 contender’s match for the UFC lightweight championship. Additionally, speculations of a rematch with Khabib Nurmagomedov could be on the cards. UFC President Dana White has stated that the Eagle could be back to touch the coveted mark of 30-0.
