It looks like the verbal tirade between Jon Jones and Israel Adesanya is never going to end. After Adesanya took a jibe at Jones for his comments after losing to Jan Blachowicz at UFC 259 in his attempt to become a two-division champion, Jones has once again fired shots at the Stylebender.
talk mad shit knowing you can’t back it up and then have the nerve to say “why are you so obsessed with me.” Acting like a girl over there playing the victim. Bro you’ve already lost this one, I’ll leave you alone now. 👍🏾

Not so long ago, Jon Jones vs Israel Adesanya was quoted to be one of the greatest fights in the history of UFC. Till this time, many fight fans argued that Adesanya could be the first fighter to hand a loss to Jon Jones.
While Jon Jones moving up the heavyweight division made many believe that Jones was running away, Adesanya’s decision to challenge the light-heavyweight champion soon after Jones’ departure once again divided the fans. Be that as it may, when Israel Adesanya took on Jan Blachowicz, many expected the Stylebender to triumph over the Polish Power.
However, that wasn’t the case as Blachowicz dominated Adesanya to win the fight via unanimous decision. Be that as it may, what really bothered fans was Adesanya’s inefficiency on the ground. Blachowicz was not only able to take down Adesanya on multiple occasions in the third and fourth rounds. However, interestingly enough, he also outstruck arguably the finest striker in the UFC right now.

Adesanya’s loss over Jan Blachwicz has made many believe that the Stylebender may not be able to beat Jon Jones after all. Needless to say, the anticipation for a super-fight between both the fighters has taken a toll, and fight fans aren’t too eager to watch them compete.
Jon Jones vs Israel Adesanya has lost his appeal
It won’t be wrong to say that Jones vs Adesanya has lost its charm. Recently, rising middleweight contender Kevin Holland claimed that Adesanya likes to cherry-pick his opponent. He added that the Stylebender is always looking for fighters who are striking heavy and don’t like to mix it up.
It’s hard to deny Holland entirely. Adesanya has called out the likes of Paulo Costa and Yoel Romero in the past. He is currently looking to defend his middleweight gold against Darren Till. Only time will tell what lies ahead for Israel Adesanya. However, one thing is for certain, the Stylebender will need to make a lot of adjustments in his game if he is to compete against a wrestler like Jon Jones.
