“I Have a Lot to Do in Next 8 Years”- Darren Till Lays Out His Plans Before Retirement

Darren Till was one of the brightest prospects in UFC not so long ago when he piled up victories over some of the biggest names in the game. Fans seemed to love his attitude outside the octagon and his performance inside the octagon.

By defeating Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone and former title challenger, Stephen Thompson, Darren Till put himself in a position to get a title shot. And Colby Covington backing off from a title shot against the champion, Tyron Woodley favored Darren Till as the British fighter got an opportunity to fight for the prestigious UFC title.

However, the world found out that Till was not ready. He does have the potential to be one of the greats. But that was not his time to shine as he suffered a disappointing defeat in the hands of Tyron Woodley. But, that was not going to stop the Gorilla chase his dream.

Till got back up and challenged a veteran of the game, Jorge Masvidal. The fans of the Gorilla were hoping for an emphatic victory against Jorge Masvidal. However, Jorge Masvidal spoiled the party for the brits in the arena as he brutally knocked out Darren Till in a fight where Till was winning up until he got struck by lightning.

Even a career-threatening knock out loss would not stop Darren Till as he would make a comeback after a long hiatus and this time Till decided to go up to middleweight division. Till faced former title contender, Kelvin Gastelum on the biggest card of 2019 and secured an impressive victory, making fans believe that Till has a bright future at 185. 

As Till sharpens his tool for a potential showdown with Robert Whittaker he just issues a strong statement to the entire middleweight division. Darren Till recalls his loss against Jorge Masvidal and claimed that the loss would lead him to a path of being the greatest of all time.

He also laid out the plans for his future in mixed martial arts. Till made it clear that he would fight his hearts out till he is 35 and achieve everything he wants to achieve. The Realest Mother f****r, DarrenTill said:

The skillsets Till possess can not be overlooked as he rises as a threat to the middleweight throne. But middleweight is full of some scary athletes such as Yoel Romero, Paulo Costa, Jared Cannonier. So the path to the middleweight throne does not look easy for Till.
