UFC 268’s main event came to an end yesterday with Kamaru Usman defending his welterweight title against Colby Covington in a five-round thriller. After The Chaos suffered a tough defeat in this rematch, his former teammate Jorge Masvidal shared a heartfelt note to Covington on Twitter.

On the other hand, Colby made several remarks about Gamebred in the post-fight press conference. He also called out Masvidal for a fight and told him to back out from the Leon Edwards fight at UFC 268. Consequently, in a turn of events, The BMF has lashed back at Covington on Twitter.

Jorge Masvidal has predicted that Covington will leave MMA Masters as he did with American Top Team after his loss against Usman in 2019. Soon after his defeat against the Nigerian Nightmare at UFC 245, Colby trashed his coaches at ATT and left their training facility to join MMA Masters.

“2021-2022 prediction: Colby burns MMA master like he has every gym and every coach he ever had by not paying and talking shit on the way out. Rinse wash repeat”

Masvidal has accused Chaos of not paying fees and behaving badly with his teammates during his time at ATT. According to Gamebred, Colby will do something similar with his new coaches at MMA Masters and things will not work out between them.

Jorge Masvidal plans to expose Colby Covington

After hearing Colby Covington’s comments about Jorge Masvidal in the post-fight press conference, Masvidal’s manager Ibrahim Kawa took a dig at Covington’s loss against Usman at UFC 268. A few hours later Gamebred retweeted his manager’s tweet by claiming that he will expose Covington very soon.

Masvidal’s tweet is a clear indication that we could see a match between him and Colby Covington in the future. Both the fighters are highly interested and have expressed their wish to face each other for a very long time.

Therefore if this fight is announced, fight fans around the globe will be very excited about this matchup because of their history and bad blood. But right now everyone will have to wait because Jorge Masvidal will face Leon Edwards in his next fight on 11th December at UFC 269.
