“Yes, this is for sure the biggest fight in the history of Martial Arts. Nothing close I think, even when he fight with Mayweather it’s like okay but not many people care about this fight. It was like historical event you know like MMA champion versus boxing champion but inside the fight like many people, they don’t even remember what happened inside the fight.”
Many might argue with Khabib’s claim because PPV buys for the boxing bout between Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor suggest otherwise. However, opinions are subjective and there would be numerous fans who would agree with the Dagestani’s claims.
Khabib Nurmagomedov reveals why UFC did not schedule a rematch between him and Conor McGregor

“They never asked me to fight again. Of course, not like the UFC said why we have to make the fight again. He have to win some you have to win then maybe we’re gonna make but right now you kill him fourth round and finished him he tapped. There is like no reason why we have to make the rematch.”
