After Dana White claimed that he had plans for Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov should the Dagestani fighter get past Justin Gaethje at UFC 254. According to UFC President Dana White, he had planned for the Ultimate Fighter featuring the Notorious Conor McGregor and the Eagle Khabib Nurmagomedov. However, it looks like that won’t be taking place with White claiming that Khabib rejected the idea after McGregor’s recent antics on social media. The former dual Champion received a lot of flak after he leaked his private conversation with Dana White. McGregor took to Twitter to express his disappointment for not landing a fight after promising a season in his return to the octagon against Donald Cerrone back at UFC 246.

Khabib Nurmagomedov in a recent interaction opened up about his decision to reject the Ultimate Fighter and stated that it had nothing to do with Conor McGregor.
“Last week Dana White called me. He said, Ali, what do you think if Khabib win, he and Conor do The Ultimate Fighter on ESPN? This is breaking news. I said I don’t know, I’ll think about it.’And he said, of course, (vice versa) if Justin wins,” Khabib’s manager Ali Abdelaziz said to TMZ Sports.

Soon after Dana White revealed that Khabib has declined to take part in the Ultimate Fighter with Conor McGregor after his recent spat with Dana White. The UFC President stated that Khabib said, “F*** him” before rejecting to take part in the Ultimate Fighter alongside him.

“I didn’t reject anything. It’s just that there is a fight ahead of me and there’s no point talking about what will happen after the fight. I never do that and there’s no point talking about it especially looking ahead of your opponent.”
Khabib specifically stated that he has not rejected the offer to take part in the Ultimate Fighter alongside Conor McGregor, and w will only know for sure if he gets past Justin Gaethje at UFC 254 for the undisputed Lightweight Championship.
