Khamzat Chimaev has been in the limelight ever since his historic back to back victories inside the octagon under ten days to record the quickest successful turnaround in the history of UFC. Chimaev has been on a roll eversince, and has become the first fighter in the history of UFC to have two fights booked even before the conclusion of the fight. Khamzat Chimaev is expected to take on Gerald Meershaert this weekend at UFC Vegas 11. Additionally, Khamzat Chimaev is also scheduled to take on former Welterweight title contender Damien Maia later in November at UFC APEX.

“He was here, I met him. I said he speaks too much, he talks too much in the media. He disrespected me. He thinks I didn’t like that, but I said to him you like to talk too much. He said, yeah, I said I’m going to smash y our face, chicken. He said nothing.” Chimaev stated.
Khamzat Chimaev has become a top star in the company is such a short period of time. After grabbing back to back victories, starting with his dominant debut, Chimaev has made a name for himself inside the MMA circle. Chimaev trains alongside former light-heavyweight title contender Alexender Gutaffsson. He posted a video alongside the now-heavyweight contender of a training session in the lead-up to the fight.
