Manager Warns UFC Fighters to Be Careful While Calling Out Fighters From Dagestan and Chechnya

Dominance MMA CEO Ali Abdelaziz who manages a lot of UFC fighters hailing from Russia, especially from parts of Dagestan and Chechnya. Ali managed fighters including the likes of Khabibb Nurmagomedov, Islam Makachhev, Khamzat Chimaev, Zabit Magomedsharipov among others.

Earlier today, Manager Ali Abdelaziz sent out a stern warning for all the UFC fighters to be careful while calling out other fighters hailing from Dagestan and Chechnya. Abdelaziz put out a tweet where he stated while mentioning the previous incidents with Conor McGregor and Artem Lobov. Additionally, Abdelaziz reminded fights fans of Kamaru Usman’s emphatic win over Colby Covington in the grudge match vis stoppage in the fifth round. It was alleged in the middle of the third round, Usman broke Colby Covington’s jaw.

Surge in UFC fighters hailing from Russia

There are several Russian fighters on the top of the UFC right now. With Khabib Nurmagomedov at the helm of mixed martial arts, there is another Champion in the form of Petr Yan who currently holds the UFC bantamweight championship. If we look at the recent call-outs targeted towards Russian fighters, the likes of Yair Rodriguez, and Darren Till comes to mind. Darren Till called out Khamzat Chimaev and stated that after he is done with Jack Hermansson this December, he will take on the undefeated Chechnyan fighter.

Ali Abdelaziz could be targeting Tony Ferguson after his recent comments against Khabib Nurmagomedov. However, Khabib Nurmagomedov and camp have remained comparatively respectful of Tony Ferguson. Not long ago, Islam Makacev called out Dan Hooker, which did not go well with both the fighter who had a brief back and forth on social media.

Earlier, Ali Abdelaziz had offered $100k to show and another to win if he takes the fight against Islam Makachev. The Dagestani fighter won’t be competing at UFC 254 after former lightweight champion Rafael dos Anjos pulled out of his scheduled bout due to positive COVID results.
