On the other hand, Pedro Munhoz gave arguably the best performance of his career coming from a long layoff. However, in the end, Frankie Edgar got his hands raised, a decision that mane fans termed as “Robbery”.
Both the fighters landed an insane amount of strikes throughout the five rounds. While Frankie Edgar was landing numerous combinations Pedro Munhoz was landing the bigger shots. However, Edgar was missing a fair amount of strikes. Munhoz was controlling the octagon and putting the pressure on Frankie Edgar.

It was in the second round when Edgar started shooting for takedowns. Edgar did secure a couple of takedowns in the fight, but he could not much damage on the ground as Munhoz got back up with ease.
Pedro Munhoz was landing a lot of leg kicks and hurting Edgar badly. In the third round, Edgar’s leg even gave up after a leg kick from Munhoz. But, Edgar stuck to the basics and showcased phenomenal boxing.
