Nate Diaz and Conor McGregor are two of the biggest names in the world of mixed martial arts. The pair have shared the UFC Octagon twice and currently stand at 1-1 against each other. It goes without saying, UFC has tried to book the trilogy fight between both fighters on numerous occasions in the past, however, Diaz has repeatedly denied the idea of facing the Notorious inside the UFC Octagon, until now!
According to Diaz’s manager, the Stockton Slugger wants to finish the trilogy with Conor McGregor, and upon his UFC release, has set his eyes on doing the same.
However, an interesting detail has come out regarding Conor McGregor vs Nate Diaz 3. According to Chael Sonnen, Diaz reportedly turned down a whopping $12 million payday to fight the Notorious.
“When he said he turned down Conor McGregor, which just by my math, I am understanding his contract would bring him in $12 million. That would be a massive night for this industry. I didn’t believe it. I thought he was working, I thought he was getting attention. They all end up being straight. I frankly enjoyed the journey.” Sonnen said.

Now that’s definitely saying a lot about Nate Diaz, who has always stuck with what he has said. Emphasizing the same, Sonnen opined how he did not believe Diaz‘s words when he said he wanted to fight Chimaev, only to find out two days later that the fight has been booked.
Nate Diaz’s next fight points towards a “novice YouTuber” according to Jake Paul
According to Jake Paul, Nate Diaz will fight a “novice YouTuber” in his professional boxing debut. Diaz’s manager has confirmed that we could see the Stockton Slugger compete as many as three times in 2023, with a boxing debut imminent.
“You will see Nate competing multiple times in 2023, and that will include boxing.” Diaz’s manager said.
Diaz was recently seen at UFC 281 and had come out to support his good friend Israel Adesanya. Prior to this, Diaz was in the news for creating mayhem backstage during Jake Paul vs Anderson Silva, prompting a callout from The Problem Child.
Tommy Fury ducking. Tyson Fury now trying to get me to fight his dad instead?
Nate Diaz ducking. I heard he’s boxing a a novice YouTuber?
Paddy ducking a spar. Knows I can’t go to UFC HQ. Offered him Jan 5 but happy to fly him out any day he wants that works for us both?
