Fighting out of Manchester, England, Brendan Loughnane is the 2022 PFL Featherweight World Champion. The 33-year-old MMA veteran has had several ups and down in his MMA career. Loughnane’s failed stint with the UFC saw him drop back-to-back losses at The Ultimate Fighter and then at UFC on FX 6, prompting a move to Full Contact Contender and then over to BAMMA, Tanko FC, ACB, and finally PFL.

For his incredible work in the PFL, Loughnane has received warm support from MMA fans from around the world, with Conor McGregor making a plea to the UFC to sign the British fighter. It won’t be wrong to say that Loughnane will be a huge addition to the company and mostly because of what McGregor rightly pointed out.
He already has a failed history with the UFC, and a return could serve as a redemption story to come back to the biggest stage of mixed martial arts in his pursuit of gold.
