Brazilian UFC fighter Paulo Costa has been making the news in the last couple of weeks because of his dispute with Dana White regarding salary. But this time around it’s not controversial as according to reports The Borrachinha has undergone a hair transplant process in Brazil.
A doctor named Pablo Matos Milhomem has revealed this news by posting it on Instagram. This process is to cowl the receding hairline and crowning on his head. As a result, many people believe that Paulo Costa pulled out of the Jared Cannonier fight because of this issue. But it doesn’t seem like hair transplant was the reason for pulling out from the fight as he has been posting pictures of himself training and enjoying on Instagram
However, after hearing this news his Middleweight rivals wasted no time and trolled him for his receding hairline. Derek Brunson and Kevin Holland roasted Paulo Costa on Instagram by posting a photoshopped image.

Paulo Costa claps back and responds to Marvin Vettori’s challenge
Marvin Vettori called out Paulo Costa in a post-fight interview after his defeat against Israel Adesanya at UFC 263. While speaking to BT Sports Marvin Vettori called him out “I like to really destroy this drunk guy Borrachinha who can’t stay off drinking.
He also added “Eventually, you know I’m as game as it comes. I’ll always show up. You can count on me, when there’s a fight, a date, I will show up. So we’ll see.”
Paolo Costa responded to this callout on Twitter. He commented, “I could fight this Moron if he show to fight like that.” However, this is not the first time that The Italian has called out the Borrachinha. He has previously challenged him for a fight after his victory against Jack Hermanson. But it looks like Paulo Costa is unimpressed by Marvin Vettori’s display.
Moreover, it will be quite difficult for the UFC to negotiate with Paulo Costa for making this fight after his controversy regarding higher pay for main event matches. However, if UFC somehow manages to book this fight it will be perfect for both the fighters as they are coming off from a defeat against Israel Adesanya and they are also ranked number 2 and 4 in the middleweight division.
