Jon Jones is again in the headlines for all the wrong reasons. Following his induction into the UFC Hall of Fame, the former UFC light heavyweight champion was arrested in Las Vegas for multiple charges.

And now the details behind the charges have been revealed. As per reports from ESPN‘s Marc Raimondi, Jon Jones pulled a woman’s hair(which is believed to be her fiance as per a report from TMZ sport) and head-butted a police car, which left a dent on the car.

The former UFC champion was arrested by the Las Vegas police department on Friday morning at 6 am. The police report said, Jones became irate and smashed his head onto the front hood” of the police vehicle, causing a dent.

Later in the day, Jon Jones was revealed on Friday evening on $8,000 bail. He is due back in court on October 26th.

The woman who was involved in the incident told police that Jones was a “little” physical with her, touching the back of her head and pulling her hair a bit. She also confirmed that Jones did not assault her.

However, Jones faced the charges after the Police observed blood on the woman’s clothing and a bump on her lip. Police also found blood on the bedsheet of their hotel room.

Jones did not admit that he assaulted the woman and he even threatened the police by calling them out into a fistfight. This is not the first time Jones has been arrested in his MMA career.

Dana White frustrated with Jon Jones

Even UFC president, Dana White had enough of the controversies surrounding Jon Jones and criticized him in his response to the incident. Dana White stated:

“It’s hard to bring this guy to Las Vegas for any reason. The city is not good for Jon Jones. And here we are again. It’s not even shocking anymore. When we bring him here, it’s almost expected.

“You can’t even get him into Las Vegas for less than 12 hours to induct him into the Hall of Fame. It’s a problem, you know? This guy has a lot of demons, man. A lot of demons.”

In his last interview, Jon Jones said that he will make his UFC return in the first quarter of 2022. However, the fans will have to wait to see how things play out for Jon Jones legally in the near future.
