Dwayne Johnson responded to the new look of Alexander Volkanovski. In the recent episode of UFC 266 Embedded, current UFC featherweight Champion Alexander Volkanovski compared himself to The Rock talking about his new shaved look.
‘The Great‘ is set to take on Brian Ortega in the main event of UFC 266. The matchup is all set to take place on September 25, 2021, at the T-Mobile Arena in Paradise, Nevada. In the footage, Alexander was in a cheerful mood and was talking about his new look.
Alexander’s opinion on his new hairstyle:
Talking about the inspiration behind his new look, Volkanovski said: “we’re in lockdown at home, I can’t get to my barber. Just did it myself. As I said, no one remembers heroes when they have hair, you know what I mean?” He added, ” who remembers The Rock when he had hair?”

Alexander Volkanovski ‘s message to Ortega ahead of UFC 266:
Nine years ago, it was unimaginable that a 213-pounds rugby player would be a UFC featherweight champion. Well, Volkanovski made that into reality. Interestingly, the current featherweight champ auditioned in welterweight when Dana brought TUF reality TV series to Australia.
Since then, “The Great” has never looked back and has earned the spot to call himself the king of featherweight. However, Volkanovski is going to defend his title against Brian Ortega in Las Vegas at UFC 266. Where the Australian fighter has promised to send Ortega viral at 266.
“Winning isn’t enough … I want one of those crazy moments that end up doing the rounds on social media”
Volkanovski will take his current undefeated run to 20 fights if he defends his title against Ortega. His only Loss came back in 2013. Do you think Brian Ortega will hand Volkanovski his second loss? Do let us know in the comments section.
