One of the biggest stars in UFC, Nate Diaz makes his UFC return to take on one of the top contenders in the welterweight division in Leon Edwards. There is a huge possibility that with a win over Leon Edwards, Nate Diaz can go on to fight for the welterweight title in his next fight.
However, there is one more big fight for Diaz if he comes out victorious at UFC 263. And it’s the trilogy with Conor McGregor. Now McGregor will be taking on Dustin Poirier in the trilogy at UFC 264. And Conor McGregor will be in a Do or Die situation at UFC 264.
While a win over Poirier, will earn McGregor a title shot against Charles Oliveira a loss will diminish his star power in the world of combat sports. But, irrespective of the result, the trilogy with Nate Diaz will always be on the table for McGregor. And it seems the favorite son of Stockton agrees with that as well.

If Conor McGregor wins against Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 it’s very likely that he will go on to challenge Charles Oliveira for the title. But if he wants to try his luck against the welterweight champion then a fight against Nate makes sense if Nate beats Edwards at UFC 263.
But, that’s a huge task considering the skillset of Leon Edwards. Besides that, Nate Diaz is not a big welterweight and there will be a huge power difference between him and Edwards. But, Diaz has shocked the world a few times before and it won’t be too surprising if he does it again at UFC 264.
