Jeff Molina is a professional fighter who competes in the UFC’s flyweight division. He is currently suspended by the Nevada State Athletic Commission due to his involvement with James Krause, even criticizing Megan Anderson for her accusations against Krause. Despite this, Molina is once again among the headlines in the MMA world. And the reason behind it is shocking and truly awful, to say the least.
Jeff recently came out as bisexual after an explicit video of him made rounds on the Internet. He now becomes the first active, openly bisexual male UFC fighter. In a Twitter post that featured a screenshot from his Notes app, he addressed his sexuality and the leak. Based on what he wrote, Jeff seemed very disturbed by the leaks which completely took him by surprise.

He wrote, “Welp…this f***ing sucks. TLDR: im bi…I’ve tried to keep my dating life private from social media. I’ve dated girls my whole life and suppressed feelings I had throughout high school being on the wrestling team, throughout college pursuing MMA, and even after making part of the dream happen and getting into the UFC.”
Molina continued, “I wanted to be known for my skills and what I’ve dedicated the last 11 years of my life to not and not the “bi fighter” that I’m sure would just be translated to “gay UFC fighter.”” However, he also added at the end of his post that he was receiving as much support as he was receiving flak from some fans.
Jeff Molina did not plan to come out now but the leaked video forced his hand
Jeff Molina did not plan on coming out as bisexual publicly until much later in his life because of the way some UFC fighters and fans tend to react to news like this. However, the aforementioned leaked video of him with another man ended up outing the American flyweight against his wishes. He addressed this in his lengthy Twitter post, even lambasting the person behind the leak.
Jeff wrote, “In a sport like this where a majority of the fans being the homophobic c******kers they are I didn’t see myself doing this during this part of my career.” Earlier, Molina criticized UFC fans for the backlash he received after wearing the rainbow shorts released by the UFC. And it seems this sentiment hasn’t changed in the slightest now, 7 months from that time.
Proud of you, Jeff.

In regards to the person who leaked the video of him, Molina said, “To the awful disturbed person that decided to post this ishh I hope it was worth it.” However, Jeff did end his statement on a positive note, writing, “At the end of the day I know my character, morals, and who I am as a person. As much as I am getting hated/sh***ed on I’m getting an equal amount of support & it means a f**k ton.”
MMA reporter Aaron Bronsteter commended Molina. The fighter is brave for not running away from this situation and tackling it head-on. And without a doubt, this will inspire other UFC fighters who may be afraid to open up about their sexuality.
