Israel Adesanya vs Paulo Costa

Israel Adesanya’s popularity has only skyrocketed in the past several months. Adesanya shocked the world as he knocked out Robert Whittaker to lift the UFC Middleweight Championship. However, after a lackluster performance against Yoel Romero, Adesanya had a lot to prove against Paulo Costa and he did just that with a second-round stoppage victory. Earlier, Dana White had revealed that the face-off between Adesanya and Costa crossed the landmark set by the Notorious Conor McGregor in his return to the octagon against Donald Cerrone early this year at UFC 246. In less than three years, Adesanya has not only defended his title belt twice but has picked up victories over some of the most prominent names in the division including the likes of Derek Brunson, Yoel Romero, Anderson Silva, Robert Whittaker, Paulo Costa among others.
