The former UFC featherweight champion, Max Holloway is finally engaged to his long time girlfriend, Alessa Quizon. Holloway and Quizon started dating in 2020 and less than a year later they have decided to take the giant leap of faith.

Alessa Quizon is a pro surfer with a bunch of achievements under her resume. The 26-year-old athlete is ranked 83 as per Women’s QS 2020.

Max Holloway also has a son, Rush Holloway who is well known among the fight fans thanks to his funky appearances during Holloway’s fights. Holloway got married to Kaimaana Paluhi in 2012. And the couple broke up in the year 2014.

UFC announces next opponent for Max Holloway

It has been a busy week for the former champion as UFC announced the next opponent for The Blessed One. Max Holloway will take on Calvin Kattar in the main event of UFC fight night on January 16th, 2021.

Calvin Kattar has looked impressive in his last fights against Jeremy Stephens and Dan Ige. While he brutally finished Stephens in the second round he outclassed Dan Ige in a 5 round fight.

On the other hand, it will be the comeback fight for Holloway. After two consecutive losses to the champion, Alexander Volkanovski, Holloway will be looking to get back to the winning column against Calvin Kattar.

Despite the two losses to Alexander Volkanovski, Max Holloway is still considered one of the best to ever do it. He is still in his prime and has a long road ahead of him. However, he needs to stack one or two wins in order to get another shot at the featherweight throne.

Besides that, it won’t be surprising to see Max Holloway in the lightweight division in the near future. Holloway has already fought for the interim lightweight title against Dustin Poirier. And if the right opportunity presents itself in the lightweight division then it’s needless to say that Max Holloway is not going to miss it.
