The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is back once again with another event this weekend. As the name may suggest, UFC Vegas 49 will take place inside the Apex facility in Las Vegas. The main event has a key lightweight fight.
Islam Makhachev will fight Bobby Green this weekend. After Beneil Dariush pulled out of the originally scheduled fight with Islam, Green agreed to take on Makhachev on short notice. While Makhachev currently finds him ranked 4th in the division. The veteran Bobby Green is currently unranked.

It will be the biggest fight of Bobby Green’s career. Islam Makhachev may find himself with an opportunity to fight for the lightweight championship. But he can not afford to take the 35-year old likely. Green is riding high on momentum and possesses the ability to pull off an upset of a lifetime.

UFC Vegas 49: Date and Venue
This will mark the 49th time that UFC had held an event in the Apex facility. The event will take place this Saturday, February 26. Although the initial event in the venue was closed for fans, lately UFC has allowed fans to attend the events.

Although this card does not have a marquee fight other than the main event, it has a lot of potentials to deliver some bangers.

Fans in the United States of America can catch the prelims from 4:00 pm EST/1:00 pm PST. Whereas the main card will start from 7:00 pm EST/4:00 pm PST. They can watch the fights on ESPN+ for a subscription fee of $6.99.

The MMA fans from the United Kingdom can catch the event live from 10:00 pm GMT on BT Sport.
