UFC Austin is about to go down this weekend. However, Bobby Green has already started to throw hands days before the event. On Wednesday, November 29, 2023, Green got into an altercation with Arman Tsarukyan’s crew inside the UFC fighter hotel.
Both the fighters are a part of the UFC Austin card but they are not fighting each other. While Tsarukyan is taking on Beneil Dariush in the main event, ‘King‘ Green is fighting Jalin Turner in the co-mains. According to Bobby Green’s Instagram story, he was jumped by Tsaruykyan’s crew. Bobby can be heard saying, “Sh*t just getting started n***ga,” while the security is trying to control Arman and his team.

Furthermore, in his subsequent Instagram story, Bobby claimed that he was not the one to start the brawl. “This b**ch ass n**ga ran up on me trying to start sh*t and he didn’t know I was going to finish it,” said Green. According to the lightweight veteran, people from Tsarukyan’s gym started this altercation. Furthermore, Bobby proudly proclaimed that he hit one of Arman’s teammates.
On the other hand. the MMA fans had a lot to say about this altercation. “This wannabe gangster lol. Arman would drop him on his head,” said one fan on X. Another fan criticized Bobby by saying, “Bobby always acts like a champion or something.”
Another fan said, “Dude is such a d**khead, I don’t know how people find his personality enjoyable.” Finally, an X user said, “LMAO what’s with Journeyman and the fake gangster act it’s embarrassing.” While some MMA-related accounts are blaming Bobby for the altercation, ‘King‘ claims that he was not the one to start the fire.
Bobby claimed that when he retaliated and came back with his crew, they were scared. “You started that sh*t. But as soon as security comes, you want to act tough again,” said ‘King‘ Green. This whole scenario is quite reminiscent of the altercation between Kevin Holland and Khamzat Chimaev. Furthermore, Holland and Chimaev were initially not scheduled to fight each other just like Green and Tsarukyan.
Bobby Green received support from his management agency after the altercation
While Arman Tsarukyan is yet to comment on the matter, Bobby Green’s management company has issued a statement in support of their client. Iridium Sports Agency took to social media platform X to claim that their client was attacked by a member of Arman’s team without any reason.
Furthermore, the statement claimed that Bobby had to fight back in order to defend himself and his coach from the attack. The post also suggested that there was a ‘large and aggressive group’ that tried to start the fight with Bobby Green.

Iridium Sports Agency is a reputed firm that is currently managing fighters like Brandon Moreno and Chito Vera among others. Furthermore, it is good to see that they are clearly backing their client in such a complicated scenario.
Since this is a fight night event, we won’t be getting a press conference otherwise it could have gone even worse. The MMA community is quite shocked by this unexpected series of events. It will be interesting to see how the two of them interact with each other during the weigh-ins.
