President Donald Trump had words to say about the UFC and the fighters including Henry Cejudo, Colby Covinton, and Justin Gaethje during one of his rally ahead of general elections. Trump, who is an old friend of UFC President Dana White, lauded the promotions and White for his continuous effort to make what MMA is today. Trump thanked Dana White and congratulated him on his wonderful achievement.

“Great job you’ve done. A friend of mine for a long time. Years ago, he was looking for a place.” Trump continued, “There’s nobody like this guy. I always say it’s a great sport, without him, I don’t know what they’d do. He could do anything.” Trump stated.
Donald Trump also appeared alongside Colby Covington and wished him luck ahead of his potential fight against Tyron Woodley this weekend. Trump hailed Covington as one of the best and stated that he is looking forward to his fight. “Under those beautiful suit, there’s a lot of muscle.” Trump said about Covington.
Donald Trump lauds Justin Gaethje ahead of Khabib Nurmagomedov fight
Donald Trump also took time to credit Justin Gaethje and regarded him as one of the best of all time. Trump stated that he is watching Gaethje ahead of his much anticipated showdown against Khabib Nurmagomedov.
“So one of the best fighters in the world, and he has a tremendous fight coming up against #1 rated pound for pound fighter, Justin Gaethje.” Trump continues, “He said, I am gonna knock him out. It’s right before the election, but I am gonna be watching, okay. I be watching, you better believe it. Good luck Justin. Great fighter.”

Justin Gaethje is scheduled to take on Khabib Nurmagomedov in a title unification bout for the UFC Lightweight Championship in the main event of UFC 254. Gaethje is coming off an incredible TKO win over Tony Ferguson and would looked to cement his place as the greatest of all time with win over Nurmagomedov. With tremendous suport behind him, it will be interesting to see how Gaethje performs against probably the greatest fighter of all time, Khabib Nurmagomedov.
