The rivalry between Colby Covington and Dustin Poirier is getting heated. Leading up to UFC 264, Colby Covington released a video of Dustin Poirier beating a sparring partner and celebrating at ATT.
Colby Covington wanted to expose Dustin Poirier’s “Fake” good guy character in front of the fans with that video. Though he was not too successful with his mission, Covington is not done with Poirier yet.
In fact, The Chaos even wants to fight Dustin Poirier inside the UFC octagon to settle the rivalry once and for all. And he strongly believes that Dustin Poirier should be next for him after his title fight against Kamaru Usman at UFC 268.
Colby Covington stated: “There is only one fight to make after I absolutely destroy Marty Fake Newsman and dump him on his head and give him a wedgie live on Madison Square Garden, November 6th. The only fight to make is me and Dustin the Soyboy Soirier.”
The former UFC interim welterweight champion would then go on a rant about Dustin Poirier and his charity organization.
“He and his family are the Lousiana Swamp trash. He and his Jezabell of a wife, Him and his kid that he uses as a prop, the family man, the fake charity guy, which is a write-off for his business. He does not really donate that money to people. He is just using that for the tax write-off. he is a fake nice guy on camera. He is a piece of shit on camera. I have seen this guy. I have seen how he is. I have seen how he treats other people. I am gonna expose him.”

How did the rivalry between Colby Covington and Dustin Poirier start?
The rivalry between Dustin Poirier and Colby Covington started long back when Poirier picked Robbie Lawler to beat Covington in their matchup back in 2019. Covington would then go on to predict Khabib Nurmagomedov to dominate Dustin Poirier, which would upset Poirier.
Over the years, the rivalry between the two has gotten so intense that Dustin Poirier has even threatened to fight Covington on street. Responding to that, Covington stated
“He said it was on sight. I thought it was on sight guys. Why is he quiet now? Because he knows I am coming for him. Because he knows I am coming for him. And he knows he is not a man of his word. He talked all this s**t before the media. I have seen it 50 times since then. And he walked right away, he put his eyes down, walked right past me, like a good little b***h that he is. So I am Dustin Dufus Soirier’s Daddy.”
