“The Joe Rogan Experience” is the biggest podcast in the world and the numbers prove it. Joe Rogan’s $200 million deal with Spotify was massive news and it increased his viewership by many folds. According to a report from Screen Rant, each episode averages 11 million listeners and it earns him a reported $100,000 per episode. However, with the massive sums of money, comes a lot of scrutiny.
Joe Rogan has admitted during his podcast that he is not a fan of football, basketball, or any kind of sport except Mixed Martial Arts (MMA). Hence, he had no interest in the recently concluded Super Bowl 57. On February 12, 2023, The Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs faced off against each other in a dramatic game. In the end, thanks, to stellar performances from Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce, the Chiefs won the game 38-35.
The Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes was judged the Super Bowl MVP. So it was natural for Mahomes’ wife Brittany to be delirious. Mrs. Mahomes was beyond happy and filmed herself celebrating alongside Patrick’s brother Jackson. The clip went viral on social media platforms and became a topic of discussion in episode #1946 of the JRE podcast.
One of the guests on the episode was Rogan’s friend and fellow comedian Shane Gillis. Seeing the video of Brittany celebrating, Gillis said, “Patrick Mahomes has a wife that’s just wild.”
He continued. “She’s up in the box and films herself…and Patrick is obviously the man, and then he’s got a crazy wife and a brother up in the box, doing all this sh*t.” Rogan had his own two cents as he said, “The problem is they keep that same energy when you get divorced. They come after you with that same energy.”

High-profile divorces are quite common and it was once again evident in October 2022, when 7-time Super Bowl winner Tom Brady got divorced from his Brazilian SuperModel wife, Gisele Bündchen. While Tom and Gisele kept their issues private, it did not stop fans from dragging the issue through the mud. However, according to Rogan, things may not be so amicable if Patrick and Brittany were ever to get divorced.

Patrick Mahomes and Brittany Mahomes have been married since 2022. However, they have known each other since their time in high school in 2011. Despite Brittany being a soccer player during her time and Patrick being busy with his football career, they still took time for each other and maintained a healthy relationship. They also have two children together.
After the seemingly unwarranted comments from Joe Rogan and his friends, Brittany fired back with two damning tweets. Although she did not name Rogan or the JRE podcast, her statements seemingly hinted at the comments made about her in the world’s biggest podcast. In one of the tweets, she wrote, “Something about grown men talking shit about someone’s wife is real weird…”

In another interview, Mrs. Mahomes further elaborated on how hard it is to deal with all the hate she receives on a regular basis. She added, “I had to change my phone number because people were texting me and harassing me and saying all these mean and hateful things.”
She further added, “It’s hard because I have feelings just like they do… When they say things like I’m ugly and Patrick could have someone better than me, they have no idea what they’re saying.” (h/t via Marca)
