Initially, Kelleher was supposed to fight Saidyokub Kakhramonov, who was forced out due to a reason unknonn. However, fortunately for Kelleher, Croom stepped up on a short notice.
Brian Kelleher currently holds the record of 23-12-0 with a unanimous decision win in his last fight against Domino Pilarte. He has an interesting record of alternate wins and losses since 2022.
On the other hand, Kevin Croom is looking for his first win the UFC after suffering a loss against Alex Caceres via Unanimous decision. His debut ended up being a bitter pill to swallow for the featherweight. He had an impressive win against Roosvelt Roberts by a guillotine chocke. He is a good boxer and is also impressive with his endurance. Roosevelt Roberts, Keheller’s last win had the advantage in terms of reach and height and yet, Keheller outboxed him and looked incredible. Above all, Keheller walks into the octagon looking to get a finish.
Croom on the other hand has a very unorthodox style of fighting and is bigger when compared to Kelleher. However, his takedown offence is on the lower side and might be a shortcoming going into this fight. Taking this fight on a 3 days notice might back fire with respect to his endurance and his cardio.
