UFC Vegas 48 is close and fight fans are eagerly waiting for the main event fight between Johnny Walker and Jamahal Hill. However, the fight card is stacked with a few other impressive matchups. One of which is a women’s Bantamweight bout between Jessica Rose Clark and Stephanie Egger. This fight is the co-main event of UFC Vegas 48 prelims.
Jessica Rose Clark debuted in the promotion back in 2017. Winning against Bec Rawlings and Paige in her first two bouts was quite impressive. However, she lost two consecutive fights after that and fans questioned her potential. Rose came back strong and won two fights via KO after recovering from her knee injury.
Stephanie Egger on the contrary is a newbie to the promotion. Debuting in the year 2020 she lost to Tracy Cortez. However, she bounced back by defeating Shanna Young in her next fight. Egger looked quite dominant in her second UFC fight. However, a win against Rose would strengthen her resume in the promotion.

UFC Vegas 48: Jessica Rose Clark vs Stephanie Egger Prediction and Fight Breakdown:
Egger is a black belt in judo. So, she certainly has the advantage on the ground. However, Clark’s Muay Thai background will also have its merits in the fight.
Jessica should avoid getting close to Egger as that would only allow Stephanie to take Clark down. She should fight from a distance and make the best use of her striking skills.
Even though Clark has the better striking skill and can dominate Egger, she has a four-inch reach advantage over Clark. So, fighting from the range would mean that Jessica can’t entertain the idea of making any mistake when fighting on foot. Because, once Egger gets close and starts clinching, Rose won’t be able to match up to her skill.
Nevertheless, Rose is an experienced fighter and knows how to avoid mistakes under such pressure. The fight is clearly a classic striking vs grappling contest. So, it depends on who between the two shows the better game on the given night.
