Islam Makhachev reveals what he said to Bobby Green after their fight. The pair came face to face in the main event of UFC Vegas 49. Green was a late replacement to fight the Dagestani fighter. It was the first main event for Green in the UFC. Unfortunately for him, the result did not go his way.
Bobby Green was on a two-fight win streak before entering the Octagon tonight. He took this fight on very short notice and it showed in his performance tonight. Green was not able to display any meaningful offence against Makhachev. However, that is very common amongst Islam’s opponents.

After taking Bobby down, Makhachev attempted a Kimura. The 35-year old successfully escaped it. However, he could not manage to get up on his feet. Islam ultimately managed to get Bobby out of the contest after mounting him and landing a number of unanswered punches. Although the California native was not badly hurt, referee Herb Dean had no choice but to call an end to the fight.
